在Windows Explore的Treeview导航里，每个条目包括“+”或“-”图标，以及文本。
点击“+”或“-”所触发的展开、收起行为无可争议。
但是点击条目文本后触发的行为，却有点意思：
(1) 当条目是展开状态时，用户点击后只会触发一个操作：跳转到对应文件夹。
(2) 当条目是收起状态时，用户点击后会触发两个操作：1是跳转到对应文件夹，2是展开子条目。
在这里，系统预测了用户下一步行为，在不形成干扰的情况下，替用户往前迈了一小步。
（如上图，点击“music”，系统同时跳转到了Music文件夹，并展开了Music下的子条目）
然而，严格意义上来说，点击“+/-”图标和点击文本应该是触发完全不同的结果：点击“+/-”触发展开子目录，点击“文本”触发跳转。
那么，今天的讨论题是：是否存在这样的情境(scenario)，点击文本时只应该触发跳转、而不应该同时触发展开呢？
导航列表中可能出现的对象主要是浏览路径、文件夹或各类文件。用户选择了这些对象后，可能的常用操作有：查看属性、修改属性（如重命名）、打开、复制或删除操作等。
这些操作中，最最常用的是打开对象。因此，系统预测了用户下一步行为，替用户往前迈的一小步是合适的。
用户希望点击文本只触发跳转、不影响展开的情形，则是用户明确知晓自己的下一步操作为上述列举的查看属性、修改属性、复制、删除等其他操作的情形。为满足此种情形的方案可以是：点击文本后，不直接展开，而是呈现一个“操作选项菜单”。（此留言系统不会插图，在此只能类比为0FFICE2007中选择了文字后所呈现的效果）

“让点击文本只触发跳转、不影响展开”,意思是:点击Music后,跳转到Music的内容去,而不展开文件夹内的文件.是这样理解吗?我觉得这样的话就存在疑义了.这种treeview比较常见,而且看样子出现在系统里,设计的时候应该是左右分栏,那完全可以点中Music以后,既展开,又在后边区域显示Music文件夹下的文件.左边显示左边的tree伸展,右边来显示你点击后的一切变化.
这样做是统一操作,当你点击了Alex_Band的文件夹以后,它的内容是不是要显示在后侧区域呢.同样Music也是文件夹,也应该具有同样的属性.要定义好元素的功能,不要混淆.
回头来看左侧的treeview,其实说白了,它就是用来表示文件夹之间父子关系的.只是比子文件夹更高一级而已.
所以,从保证功能的统一性上来说,这个问题就很好解释了 =)
Yep, of course we should keep consistence. I also think it is reasonable for Windows Explorer to expand sub-folders and open contends at the same time.
However, the last question I posed was asking if there is any scenario in which we should only open contends, without expanding sub-folders.
one possible scenario: the current folder has thousands of hundreds folders but the user only want to do something on the current folder.
I think it really depends on the cost of expanding sub-folders.

hmmm… “natural beauty” does not always bring about “beauty”, but we should also accept it in order to understand the original of the world(here, the Windows) better.

yep. I concede the core of WIN is worth to be appreciated, but it would be better if it take more time to refine its exterior quality. Actually I do think microsoft should pay attention to this. Although every time the new WIN has been completely reformed from the inside, but it seems to make no sense to the untechnical customers because such kinda “same old same old” external performance doesn’t really make people acknowledge and appreciate its “beauty”.
As to thr VERSIONS,
coz I changed back to the original theme, but it still doesn’t work out. Opps…So I guess it might be the version that realy matters. Actually Pro and Home do have some slight differences on the UI.
